The clouds made it!! Gotta love the long pour.
Nice job where is your shop?
😂goodjob
😱😱😱😱
Que torque lleva los tornillos?
Why do shops need to charge so much? This guy did it in 90 seconds
What about only when under heavy load
Hi how can you remove the camshaft without removing the lifting, I mean does the lifter block the camshaft from coming out?
You pin the lifters up. You remove the lifter guides from the drivers side of the block, pull up on the lifter from up top with a coat hanger then stick a bolt through the guide hole. I had to do sooo many of these cam jobs when I worker for Peterbilt, these engines are garbage.
Anyone here have experience with these engines? I’m planning on getting a freightliner m2 with 480k miles for a 3 car hauler. my max combined weight would be 50k or less.
👍🏿👍🏿813
these gym dudes couldn't even put a drive shaft in place or put a clutch on by hand, real world strength is different.
do you know the average torque specs to the transmission bell housing to flywheel housing?
One day I wanna gain enough experience to be doing this
so criminal. hard to understand why people buy new trucks
How can you change that camshaft without changing the lifters, which according to how the camshaft looks, they are bad and it is most likely that the camshaft will be damaged by the old lifters, this is a job done with a lack of knowledge or lazily
you ever work in a dealer?this is warranty work. Most likely he opened a TCS case, sent them pictures and they told him what he was allowed to do, either change the cam or in other cases a whole long block swap. Sounds like you've never worked in a rush dealer.
The price of not reading an owners manual is pretty steep these days 😂😂😂
Always wondered that me having a physically challenging job if these people that make these videos do anything near what I do
Can you please give us part number
A lot easier to just put in service mode with a half inch extension, have to remove the yolk and throw out bearing anyway and leaving the LCA in the tranny, endurance def are the easiest to remove though.
Truth
Dirty job clean money
Not long before it bends again.
We all have hard jobs. You’re still scrawny because your body gets programmed. People who go to the gym get stronger and bigger
Had it pinched in the vise way to high my man 😂
Why don't you heat it up, straighten it then give it another oil quench?
Mi neispravi parta ,elementarna rabota e no izkriven go postavi
Bro cannot even do the shitty job right
Why not put it length ways in the vice. That would be a much quicker and better way of straightening it. If you are not going to replace it then atleast work more efficiently
That face slam looked REAL painful
That’s some skeeetchy ass shit man
gyms have air con, his sweat is his air con
Those that think he could have bout new push rod and that would fix the issue. 😂😂😂 what do you think caused this?? 😂😂😂 multiple reasons but most likely not a 20 dollar fix bud
Real question is what caused it.
I have done all those things. Just FYI carrying drums will definitely get your back jacked up later in life.
At least reverse bend it at the site where it is kinked - then spin it in a lathe - if thats an exhaust valve it will burn out eventually !
Esatto!!!
EPIC BRO EPICCCC
Work smart not hard 🤙
What bent it tho is the question and main issue
Clear repair , tork wrench. Perfect job
no way.
At least have a decent go at straightening it, Stevie Wonder could have done a better job at it with a wooden spoon and a banana 😂
I just wanted to know why u left the hood on? So much easier with them off
Eh, sometimes as a flat rate guy what might make things easier isn't in the budget. You have to cut that time down as much as you possibly can to make money.
Most mechanics would have said, yep rod knock needs an engine 😂
now it cant spin freely in aweek it will distroy the cam lobe.
😱
